So, at 3:30 yesterday I get a call. It's a nurse at the hospital where I work. She's calling to ask if I'm ok. It seems the last several times when she's seen me, I've been rather pale and tired looking. Am I well? I explain that I'm always pale, but she assures me I've been looking exceptionally pale and not well.
Um.
Well.
Gee.
Thanks for caring? It's not everyday someone calls me up to ask if I'm dying. I'm at a loss. What would you say?

I'd exclaim, 'thank you for noticing, its the new face peel im using' and hang up ;)
Yeah, that would make me a little insecure.... ;)
to be honest, unless it was a good friend I think I'd be offended. Although I'm sure she only asked because she cares. I just get all insecure when people ask me things like that. Anyway, it's more about her than it is about you.
I got a call from a local farmer. He wanted to know if he could plant a row of corn in those furrows under my eyes.
