You know those parents who have their kids in EVERYTHING???? I absolutely can not stand to be around those parents. And yet. . .I find myself sounding just like them. Kyler has been camping this week--pick him up today--kady goes thurs--kyler has church stuff thurs--kyler to ok fri--kady to be picked up sat--we leave to see kev sat--pick up kyler on sunday. . .Life is SO crazy. I wish we could slow down, but honestly, I am not sure what we would slow down from. As long as I am working and the kids are in school, I don't think it would matter if we didn't do anything extracurricular. Life is just busy and frantic when you have young kids. I know some will read this and say, "Life is only as busy as you let it be." I really have to disagree. Life will always be busy and frantic with small kids, but you can control the way you look at the commotion. You can choose to be content in the cyclone of life. I am happy to say that I am extremely content right now. I have a good husband, wonderful kids, great family and friends, great church family, and God--what more could a girl ask for? Now, if someone could just help me track down where I left my kids. . .

I hear ya, girl! You're right- it's all about perspective. I'm bad about letting myself get stressed out over the little details, but I want my kids to each have a few extra curriculars because I know it's fun for them and good for their social development, etc. etc. etc. But, it can get CRAZY very fast with kids running everywhere and moms and dads running everywhere too! But, when I stop to think about the alternative, I think the crazy way is the better way. Keep up the good work, Mamma! :-)
